- LumaChrome 3D Acrylic Fine Art Prints — These prints offer a luxurious, gallery-style presentation. A high-resolution print on archival paper is face-mounted to a sheet of crystal-clear acrylic, resulting in remarkable depth, sharpness, and vibrancy. Like the metal prints, each arrives ready to hang with a hidden float mount on the back with no additional framing required.
Both offer vibrant, high-impact presentations, but each has distinct advantages.
- Acrylic prints tend to be a bit sharper since they’re made using a high-resolution paper print face-mounted behind acrylic, and they can include anti-reflective coatings for optimal display in bright settings.
- Metal prints are lighter, more durable, easier to hang, and more affordable. Their moisture resistance also makes them a great option for bathrooms or other humid environments.
ChromaLuxe Metal Prints
A ChromaLuxe metal print is a high-definition photographic print produced using a process called dye sublimation, in which dyes are infused directly into specially coated aluminum panels. The process begins by printing the image onto a specialized transfer paper using sublimation inks. This transfer paper is then carefully positioned on top of a ChromaLuxe coated aluminum sheet. Under heat and pressure, the dyes transform into a gas and bond with the surface coating of the metal, resulting in a vibrant, permanent image that becomes part of the panel itself.
This technique yields exceptionally vivid, durable, and visually striking images, making ChromaLuxe prints a popular choice for fine art photography, gallery exhibitions, interior décor, and high-end commercial displays.

LumaChrome Acrylic Prints
The Lumachrome process is engineered to surpass the limitations of pigment paper print. Details appear to emerge in 3D from the depths of the image with the Lumachrome process thanks to the transparency layer that is infused with iridium particles and is encapsulated in a layer suspended between the white poly surface and Acrylic. The print is face mounted on 1/8” Truelife® acrylic, which is an anti-reflective, abrasion resistant acrylic. It is then backed with another piece of acrylic. The edges are diamond milled for a satin look that gives an invisible clean look that does not catch bright reflections and distract from the image like the polished edges does. This presentation is the perfect choice for those looking for a modern approach to fine art display.
