How will the prints look in my space?

This is a very common question, as it's often difficult to truly judge how the size and the colors will match your decor.

We're happy to assist - send us a photo of your room wall and we'll send you back a free mockup.

Which print medium is best - acrylic or metal?

Honestly - there's no correct answer to whether acrylic or metal prints are better because - - it depends on the environment, on your decor and the room that the print will be hung in, and your personal preference.

Here is an in-depth look at the benefits and trade-offs of acrylic and metal prints.

What camera equipment do you use?

All of my landscape images and most of my floral images are shot using the medium-format Hasselblad X2Dii. With a 100 Megapixel sensor, 16-bit color depth, and Hasselblad's unique Natural Color Solution, it ensures that the details and the colors in the prints are unsurpassed even at very large sizes.

For some floral images I also use the 45 Megapixel Nikon Z7II.

How do you use AI in your images?

I don't. And never will.

I use Photoshop and Lightroom to tailor the image for taste and optimal printing, but I take extra time to get the image correct in the camera, with the goal of allowing you to see exactly what I see through the viewfinder.

The natural beauty of this world needs no artificial help, regardless of how smart that software might become.

How should I hang my prints?

All of the prints hang with a "french-cleat style" hanging system that is integrated into the frame on the back of the artwork. This allows the art to float off of the wall for a very clean, gallery look. Learn more about how to hang the prints here.

For larger, heavier pieces it's usually best to hire the services of a professional art installer to ensure proper and secure wall mounting.

The center of the artwork should be at eye level, typically 57-60 inches from the floor. When hanging above furniture, the bottom of the frame should be 6-8 inches above the furniture surface.

How should I clean my prints?

Using a non-ammonia glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth is recommended for both the acrylic face-mounts and the metal prints. Water, and a fragrance-free mild dish soap, work just as well. Always add the cleaner to the cloth, and never directly on the art work itself. Avoid any abrasive materials that might scratch the metal or acrylic surface.

An acrylic cleaner like Novus 1 or Plexus is highly recommended for the Acrylic Facemounts.

Do you offer custom print sizes?

We absolutely offer custom print sizes.

Please contact me directly and provide the details of your request, or you can send images of your interior to create digital previews of how different print sizes will look in your space.

How long will it take to receive my print?

Generally, your fine art print will arrive 2-4 weeks from time of purchase (in the USA).

Select options are available to rush production and shipping if you have a time constraint and need the art sooner. Tracking information is provided once the art ships from the lab.

How will my print be shipped?

Shipping is complimentary to both the USA and Canada.

Prints are shipped using a variety of shipping carriers depending on the size and on which is the best match for each area.

Larger prints are typically reinforced in wooden crates or in styrofoam-reinforced cardboard boxes. Shipping damage is rare using these time-tested methods.

What if my print is damaged during shipping?

You are covered, as all of the artwork is insured.

In the rare instance that a print is damaged, take as many photos as possible of the packaging and of any damage to the art. Send me an email or text with all of those images and we will start a replacement print into production immediately which will be expedited to you to replace the original order.

Do you ship internationally, outside of the US and Canada?

Yes, we do.

Get in touch with us directly and we can work together on a custom shipping quote.
